Paul H. Lind April 25, 1942 - January 20, 2026

Paul H. Lind, 83, of Zionsville, formerly of Lindenhurst, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at home, surrounded by loving family. He was the husband of Catherine D. (Young) Lind. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, April 25, 1942, Paul was the son of the late Paul George and Kathryn Marie (Humphrey) Lind. He faithfully and honorably served in the U.S. Navy during a peacetime era. He retired from Lower Macungie Township as the Head of the Sewer Crew in 2010. Prior to that, Paul held several jobs. Most notably, he was the Head of Security for Loomis Armor, he was a Police Officer for the Macungie Police Department and worked at the former Kirsch Drapery Hardware. He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

Survivors: In addition to his wife of 61 years, Catherine; daughter, Kristen E. Sohaney and her husband, James of Allentown; sisters, Lois Hall of Albany, NY, Joan Gilmore of Amityville, NY, Geri Winkleman of Riverhead, NY; grandsons, Blake A. and Gavin P. Sohaney.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Thomas More, 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday in the Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown and 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment with military honors will conclude services at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmanstephens.com.
