Peter J. Scheerer January 16, 1977 - October 2, 2024

Peter J. Scheerer, 47, of Wescosville, formerly of Center Valley, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Surrounded by his loving family, he lost his long fight with Colorectal Cancer. He was the husband of Jennifer (Stiles) Scheerer. Born in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of Kathy (Moran) Scheerer of Center Valley and the late Mike Scheerer. Peter was a graduate of Southern Lehigh H.S. and attended Penn State University. He worked as a machinist for Alta Enterprises in Center Valley. Peter had a zest for life and a great sense of humor. He loved his family, and his nieces and nephews helped keep him young.

Survivors: Wife Jennifer; Mother, Kathy; Siblings Michael Scheerer, Jr. of Center Valley, John Scheerer and his wife Lisa of Coopersburg, Danny Scheerer and his wife Astrid of Sinking Spring, Katy Crouthamel and her husband Curt of Center Valley, Stephen Scheerer and his wife Kathleen of Pittsburgh. Peter is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 am Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Assumption BVM Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem 18015, with a viewing from 10 – 11 am Tuesday in the church. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com
