Phillip James Conti February 18, 1950 - January 18, 2026

Phillip James Conti, 75, of Center Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 18th surrounded by the love of his family. A proud Vietnam War veteran, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Phillip lived a life marked by service, hard work, fierce loyalty, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Born and raised in Girardville, PA Phillip was the oldest of six children born to Ruth Albright Conti and Raymond James Conti. Phillip graduated from North Schuylkill HS in 1968 and volunteered for the draft, answering his country’s call with courage. He served honorably as a SP4 sniper in the special long-range reconnaissance patrol, Tiger Force, for the 101st Airborne of the United States Army. After returning home from Vietnam, Phillip married Sandra Klingaman of Salisbury in 1972.  He worked for several years at Schaeffer/Stroh Brewery before starting his own pool business where he worked for over 30 years, with his father-in-law and son.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Conti; his son, Brian Conti, and daughter-in-law, Jill (Yerger) Conti of Green Lane; his daughter, Wendi Carroll, and son-in-law, Conn Carroll of Vienna, VA; his seven treasured grandchildren: Madison, Abigail, Mason, Owen, Andrea, Kathryn, and Ryan; and his sisters, Joanne Dietz and her husband Earl of Ashland and Christine Phillips and her husband Steve of Coopersburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Albright Conti and Raymond James Conti; his sister, Diane Szafransky; and his brother, James Conti.

A visitation will be held at Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home P.C., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown, PA 18106, on Saturday, January 24th from 1:30-2:30 pm with military honors at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
