Reynold C. Reifinger August 1, 1933 - August 25, 2025
Reynold C. Reifinger, 92 of Allentown, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Topton, on August 1, 1933, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Lois (Fisher) Reifinger. He was the husband of the late June E. Reifinger, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, before her passing earlier this year. Rey graduated from Kutztown High School, Class of 1951. After graduation, Reynold honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service, Reynold worked for Mack Trucks for almost 30 years, until his retirement.
Rey was a long-time member of the former St. James Lutheran Church until its closing. He was a current member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. He sang on the choir and served on many church committees. Rey loved trips to Ocean City, MD and enjoyed sailing on the 25 foot “Valkyrie”. He also was an avid hunter and enjoyed an occasional cigar. He will be lovingly remembered for his incredible sense of humor and practical jokes.
Reynold is survived by children, Diane, wife of David Spangler, Dean, and wife Sandra (Hunsinger), and Michael, and wife Denise (Scherr). Grandchildren, Jill, Corey, Jena, Bradley, Krista, and Angela, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Findlay, Sandra Pensinger, and Barbara Arndt Kauffman.
Services will be held privately. Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
