Richard N. Doll May 4, 1923 - November 10, 2023

Richard N. Doll, 100, formerly of Allentown, Pennsylvania went to his heavenly home on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Barclay Friends in West Chester, PA. He was born in Allentown, a son of the late Arthur L. and Gertrude M. (Bloch) Doll. Richard was the husband of the late Ingeborg U. (Tasler) Doll. They had been married for 73 years. Richard was employed as a salesman and manager for Owen Bastian Carpet Sales for 32 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church in Allentown. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was the happiest when spending time with his family. He enjoyed baking and crossword puzzles. Richard and Inge also spent many happy times at the Saenger Bund Club with friends.
Richard is survived by his son, Roland W. Doll and his wife Debbie; Granddaughters Lauren Doll and her fiancé Jon Burke, Kristen Doll Adams and her husband Michael Adams; Great-granddaughters: Hailey and Remy Adams. He also has many relatives in Germany. He was predeceased by his younger siblings Carl Doll, Neal Doll, Jane Miller, Robert Doll, and Willard Doll.
Services will be held at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, November 17, 2023. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 P.M Friday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at the Grandview Cemetery in Allentown.
