Rita M. Mauch August 3, 1939 - May 23, 2021

Rita M. Mauch, 81, of L. Macungie Twp., passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, surrounded by family in her home.  Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Estelle (Ryckevic) Szucs.  Prior to retiring in 2004, she was employed as a nurse’s aide at Luther Crest, Allentown, for 21 years.  A member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown, Rita was a great cook, enjoyed sewing and making craft miniatures and was known for her weekly floral arrangements.  Survivors: sons, Dave, L. Macungie Twp., Marty and wife, Sharon, E. Norriton Twp.; daughter, Karrie Woodruff and husband, John, West Chester; brother, Les and wife, Sandy, Middleburg Heights, OH; granddaughters, Alexandra Woodruff, Exton, Hope Rose Mauch, E. Norriton Twp.; former husband, Robert Mauch, Phoenixville.  Services: Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:30 AM in church, 1040 Flexer Ave., with a visitation from 9:30 AM until time of Mass.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.  Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC.  Contributions: Arthritis Foundation
