Robert A. “Bob” Sandt May 2, 1959 - September 6, 2022

Robert A. “Bob” Sandt, 63, of Coplay, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in Shore Medial Center, Somers Point, NJ. Bob was the husband of Gwen E. (Saylor) Sandt. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary next month. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Dorothy Sandt. Bob was a graduate of William Allen HS. He worked for the City of Allentown for 39 years before retiring as Supervisor of Code Enforcement in 2021. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to live music. Bob loved to spend time in Virginia Beach and at their beach house in Ocean City, NJ. The joy of his life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife, Gwen; Daughter: Lauren M. Sokolski and her husband Peter Z. of N. Catasauqua; Son: Matthew R. Sandt and his wife Carolyn B. of Virginia Beach; Grandchildren: Bryson R. Sandt, Ella V. Sokolski, Charlotte R. Sokolski; Brother: Bryan A. Sandt and his wife Kimberly M. of Forks Twp.; Mother-in-Law: Peggy S. Saylor of Allentown; Half-Sisters: Maria Deysher and Theresa Bostocky; Half-Brother: Anthony Deysher.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm, Monday, September 12, 2022, at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. There will be a visitation from noon to 3 pm Monday in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com.
