Robert C. Issermoyer May 26, 1940 - February 6, 2026

Robert C. Issermoyer, 85, passed away on February 6, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus. Born in Allentown and a graduate of William Allen High School, he was the son of the late Albert and Roena (Wohlfrath) Issermoyer. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Hausman) Issermoyer, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2023. Robert worked for Orkin Steel Company for almost 25 years before his retirement. He was a member of Christ E.C. Church and Boulevard E.C. Church, both of Allentown. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, playing cards, and being with his grandkids. He would tell everyone proudly he learned to golf at the age of 76 and enjoyed playing as often as he could.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Barbara A. Walter (Robert) and Sharon L. Kominsky (Terry), five grandchildren, Emily Freney (Schultz), Carolyn Khoury (Schultz), Alyssa Kominsky, Adam Schultz, and Brian Kominsky, and four greatgrandchildren. In addition to his wife, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Wilbur Issermoyer, and several half-siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown  A Calling Hour will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM.
