Robert D. Brown October 5, 1932 - May 19, 2024

Robert D. Brown, 91, of New Tripoli passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in 1932, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (McColm) Brown.  He was the husband of Dorothy Louise (Gery) Brown, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.  Robert worked for many years as a general contractor.  He was a founding member of Faith Evangelical Free Church.  He was a former Deacon & Traveled around the world serving God on mission Trips doing construction building & repair work to help missionaries & the locals in need of care. He loved to interact with the people in each village he worked in.  In his spare time, he loved to stay active.  He enjoyed bike riding, rollerblading and walking in the park every morning and socializing.  He also enjoyed relaxing with a cup of coffee at a local diner or a Dunkin’ Donuts.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, Robert is survived by her children Kimberly Hooker (Ronnie), Ana Vasquez (Brondy), Sandra Clock (Steve), Karen Shrawder (Andrew), and Rob Brown, (Jim), brother, William Brown (Maria), sister, Kathleen Provenzano.  10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his brothers Tom, Arthur, and Neil.

Services will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd Allentown, PA 18106 .  Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
