Robert L. Mitchell, Jr. August 1, 1953 - January 16, 2019

Robert L. Mitchell, Jr., 65, of Orefield, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia “Ginnie” M. (Lilly) Mitchell. They celebrated their 24^th wedding anniversary last month. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Darlene M. (Diehl) and Robert L. Mitchell, Sr. Bob was a graduate of Southern Lehigh H.S. He was a former coach at Mountainville Memorial and Macungie Youth Association.

Survivors: Wife, Virginia; Sons: Christopher R. Mitchell and his wife Kristen of Narvon, Michael J. Carpenter and his wife Jennifer of Emmaus, David H. Danner of Schnecksville; Grandchildren: Tyler, Kaylee, Christopher, William, Leah; Brother: Stephen A. Mitchell and his wife Judy of Washington, NC; Sister: Vicki A. Mitchell of Allentown. Bob was predeceased by a son Eric R. Mitchell.
