Robert M. Brady November 3, 1932 - November 4, 2023

Robert (Bob) Martin Brady, son of the late Thomas F. Brady and Emily O’Brien Brady, passed away peacefully Saturday November 4, 2023.  Robert was born November 3, 1932, in Newark,
N.J. and grew up in Livingston, N.J. where he met his wife, Marlene Jones Brady Ellis, and raised their four children.

After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, he served as a police officer in Livingston.  He was President of the Livingston Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Livingston First Aid Squad.  Bob entered the business world and quickly rose into executive positions as Director of Dealer Sales at SCM Corporation in NYC, President of Saxon Industries in Miami, and President of Kip USA in San Francisco.  Not long after the family moved to south Florida in 1975, Bob started his own office supplies and lamination business.  Upon retirement, that business turned into a fun weekend hobby with Bob and Marlene selling military posters at Blue Angels and Thunderbird air shows around the country in areas close to where their children and grandchildren lived.  All 11 grandchildren, starting at the age of 5, vividly remember the fun and excitement of helping customers choose and roll up the laminated military posters and collect money.

Bob was an avid golfer and Club Champion in both New Jersey and Florida and passed his love of the sport to his children and grandchildren.  His devotion and love for his family was indeed
witnessed by all.  When the family was not visiting them, they would be visiting their children and grandchildren and rarely missed a milestone in their lives.  Bob was a member of St. Peter’s
Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church in Livingston and St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Boca Raton.

Robert (Bob) M. Brady  is survived by his children, William M. Brady (Keiren), Mary Beth Bohri (David), Lisa Armstrong (Steven), grandchildren, Robert Charles Jones Brady, Trisha L. Leslie (Greg), William Brady Jr. (Sharon), Scott P. Brady (Andrea), Ryan T. Brady (Kristen), Robert Q. Brady (Meghan), Kelly Ann Majmudar (Shaan) Bruce Bohri, Andrew J. Bohri (Jessica), Branden W. Zimmermann (Danielle), Leighan A. Zimmermann, great-grandchildren, Braydon, Dylan, Cameron, McKenzie, Landon, Kiley, Jackson, Kaylen, Paisley, Declan, Sofia, Kian, and 9 week old, Brady.

In addition to Marlene, the love of his life, Robert was predeceased by a son, Robert M. Brady, Jr., a grandson, Christopher James Michael Bohri, and his siblings, Thomas Brady, Betty
McGuire, and Judy Watson.

Services will be held Thursday, November 16th  at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 1620 W. Turner St, Allentown.  Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. with service at 12 noon.  Private interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, N.J.
