Robert W. Minnix November 23, 1944 - November 17, 2023

Robert W. Minnix, 78, of Macungie passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of the late Donna E. Minnix who passed away in 2020. Robert was born in London, KY, a son of the late Warren and Pauline (Hammack) Minnix. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received his degree in Economics and was a member of the football team. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Life Insurance Agent for New York Life from 1972 until the present. He was a model train and automobile enthusiast, especially his cherished corvette. Bob was a musician, playing with Clockwork and Variations. He was a recreational pilot and a Free & Accepted Mason. Bob was an avid Phillies and University of Maryland Sports Fan. He and his wife traveled around the world. Bob enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball teams and especially supporting and watching his children and grandchildren’s games.

Survivors: Sons, Douglas W. and his wife Julie K. Minnix of Macungie, Michael Todd and his wife Yvette Minnix of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Owen, Mason and Divo.

Services: A memorial service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 3rd in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 2:30 – 3:30 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com.
