Roberto D. Ruozzi September 18, 1944 - May 25, 2025

Roberto D. Ruozzi, 80, of Breinigsville, formerly of Brazil, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Liete Aparecida (Cestari) Ruozzi. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2025. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he was a son of the late Marino P. and Lydia (Dias) Ruozzi. Roberto had a master’s degree in computer science as well as a law degree and a business degree. He was an attorney for many years and retired as a Public Servant for the City of Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2000. Roberto was also a pioneer in introducing Brazilian college soccer to Europe in the 1980s.

Survivors: Wife, Liete; Sons: Douglas Roberto C. Ruozzi and his wife Livia of Conshohocken, PA, Alexandre C. Ruozzi and his wife Gladys of Breinigsville, PA, Alcides “Al” Ruozzi and his wife Lais of Schnecksville, PA; Grandchildren: Vitoria Ruozzi, Giulia Giangreco and her husband Marc Giangreco, Henrique Ruozzi, Laura de Gouveia Ruozzi, Anna Elizabeth de Gouveia Ruozzi; Sister: Marina Verardi and her husband Milton of Praia Grande, Brazil. Roberto was predeceased by his brother Lino Ruozzi.
