Ronald D. Hoelzel January 18, 1938 - November 5, 2021

Ronald D. Hoelzel, 83, of Allentown, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, in Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (McKeone) Hoelzel.  Ron was born in Allentown a son of the late John and Marguerite (Nonnemacher) Hoelzel. He was employed by Kaman Industrial Technologies in the outside sales department for 40 years before retiring in 2004. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown. Ron bowled in the United Church League at the Rose Bowl for over 50 years. He was an aficionado of Dodge/Plymouth muscle cars. He was an avid NASCAR Racing fan and enjoyed attending numerous races with his son both in the pits and in the stands. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors: Son, Jeffrey M. and his wife Michelle Hoelzel of Allentown; brother, Richard B. and his wife Margaret Hoelzel of Indian Lake Estates, FL; daughter-in-law, Thelma Hammel of TN; grandchildren, William, Timmy, Ryan and Madison; grand dogs, Xena and Mickey. He was predeceased by his son James M. Hammel and sisters Jacqueline Fritz and Alicia Snyder.
