Rose A. Hetherington March 2, 1920 - November 9, 2020

Rose A. Hetherington, 100, of Country Meadows, Allentown, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 in Parkland Manor. She was the wife of the late William A. Hetherington. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Teresa (Ambrose) Reiterman. Rose was a self-employed seamstress and had a sewing club in her home for many years. Previously, she worked at General Electric for 6 years. Mrs. Hetherington was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown where she was active with their social functions. She was a Girl Scout leader in East Allentown for 25 years. Rose loved to travel and enjoyed needlepoint, sewing and ceramics.

Survivors: Children: Billie R. Funk and her husband John of Macungie, Michael T. Hetherington of Jim Thorpe, Joie L. Barry of Macungie, Steven R. Hetherington and his wife Laurie of Allentown; Grandchildren: John, Kerry, Jolee, Michael, Shawn; Great grandchildren: 11; Step-great grandchildren: 2; Great-great grandchildren: 5; Step-great great grandchildren: 2. Rose was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
