Rose Jean Herrmann September 16, 1925 - January 9, 2023

Rose Jean Herrmann, 97, of Allentown, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at Luther Crest Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John A. Herrmann III and was a dedicated and loving mother. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna (Blum) Younger and was a graduate of South Whitehall High School. A member of the former Faith United Church of Christ, she volunteered to help children with special needs and loved traveling, cooking and entertaining. Survivors: daughter, Carol A. Hutchings and husband, James, Allentown; grandson, Jason and wife, Jamie, Media; great grandchildren, Emma Rose, Milo James; beloved dog, Sophie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter, Cathy, son, John IV, and brothers, Rudy and Joseph. Services: Private. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
