Ruth A. Cimino January 17, 1931 - May 25, 2018

Ruth A. Cimino, 87, of Saylorsburg, formerly a resident of Allentown for 70 years, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Carmen D. Cimino. Ruth was born in Newside a daughter of the late Edgar L. and Mary (Ebert) Kistler. She was a seamstress for various garment manufactures in the Lehigh Valley area for many years before retiring. Ruth was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union for over 40 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena, Allentown. Ruth was a member of the Northampton Liederkranz where she participated in the Ladies Traveling Bowling League. She enjoyed playing softball and was a member of the Allentown Women’s League.

Survivors: Sons, Scott D. and his wife Mary Jo Cimino of Saylorsburg, Michael and his wife Lorraine of FL; daughter, Paula A. and her husband Michael J. Yanders of Kempton; brother, Mark “Dutch” Kistler and his wife Jean of Emmaus; grandchildren, David D. and his wife Diana, Michael P., Emma N. and Mykaela A., several nieces and nephews.
Services 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 10:00 – 11:00 A.M in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. www.stephensfuneral.com.
