Ruth A. Sensinger September 5, 1938 - November 24, 2025

Ruth A. Sensinger, 87, of Orefield, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Cedar Crest Post Acute Care. She was the wife of the late Theodore W. Sensinger. Born in Allentown, January 5, 1938, Ruth was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Merkle) Hanby. She enjoyed doing crafts and ceramics. Ruth was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Survivors: Daughter, Sherri Cannizzaro and her husband, Victor of Orefield; brother, Robert Hanby and his wife, Gloria of Allentown; sister, Margaret Long of Schnecksville; grandson, Josh Sensinger; great grandson, Talon; predeceased by daughter, Kathy Apgar; grandson, Sean Apgar.

Service: A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 in the Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown with the Rev. Chris Cocca officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Allentown.
