Ruth Elaine Schuon April 22, 1922 - April 10, 2021

Ruth Elaine Schuon, 98, formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on April 10th at the home of her daughter, Nancy Jarvis, in Aiken, SC. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James, with whom she shared 73 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, PA on April 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Minnie Kline. Ruth enjoyed baking, sewing, and gardening. They are only a small portion of her legacy. She was a mentor and inspiration to her family and all she met. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class and Aiken Outdoors. A heartfelt thank you to the Hospice nurses, Kelly, Laurie, Terri and Herk. “You may have tangible wealth untold; Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold. Richer than I you can never be – I had a Mother who read to me.”

Left behind in anticipation of His glorious appearance are a sister Beverly Metzger; Daughter Nancy Jarvis; Sons Matthew and wife Susan, Luke and wife Suzanne, and John and wife Verna; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her son Mark, Son-in-law G. Terry Jarvis and granddaughter Rebecca Jarvis.
