Ruth W. “Joan” Luecht November 13, 1932 - October 7, 2017

Ruth W. “Joan” Luecht, 84, formerly of Catasauqua, went to be with the Lord in the loving arms of her family on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Robert W. “Bob” Luecht. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas L. and Anna L. (Rapley) White. Joan was a member of First Baptist Church, Allentown, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess, Church Secretary and Director of VBS.

Survivors: Daughters: Kimberlee L. Schemel and her husband Alan J. of Tunkhannock, Heidi L. Roxberry and her husband David L. of Schnecksville; Grandchildren: Becky and her husband Ryan, Tim and his companion Gina, Sarah and her husband Travis, Emily; Great-grandchildren: Madison, Brennan, Emma, Landon, Ella, Michael; Sister: Patsy Broderick of Auburn, MA; Brothers: Thomas L. White, Jr. of Worchester, MA, Hal White of Alabama. Joan was predeceased by her brother Philip and her sister Janice Heap.
