Scott P. Dillensnyder February 2, 1955 - November 23, 2017

Scott P. Dillensnyder, 62, of Emmaus, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 with his loving wife Louise by his side in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township after a valiant fight against cancer. He and Louise celebrated their 26^th wedding anniversary last June.  Scott was born in Allentown a son of the late John E. Dillensnyder, Jr. and Dolores A. (Balliet) Dillensnyder.  He graduated from Kutztown University with a Master’s degree in Administration.  Scott was a Superintendent for the Lehigh County Juvenile Detention Center for 35 years before retiring in 2012. Upon retirement he and his wife lived out their dream as “Snow Birds” in Englewood, FL.  He bowled in the United Church League for many years. Scott was an avid Phillies and Eagles Fan.

Survivors: Wife; step-daughter, Robin M. wife of Kenneth Gualtieri of Emmaus; brothers, David L. Dillensnyder and his wife Jean of Woodbridge, VA, and John E. Dillensnyder III and his wife Leslie of Allentown; grandchildren, Eli and Enzo; nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Friday in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. Friday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. www.stephensfuneral.com.
