Sean M. O’Neil December 31, 1983 - April 15, 2025

Sean Michael O’Neil, age 41, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025. Sean had a passion for food and cooking. He worked for The Mercantile Club in Emmaus, PA as a sous chef and manager. He was well traveled with many of his travels leading him to some of the top restaurants around the country. His favorite place to visit was New Orleans, LA. Sean would study the chefs and their cuisines, making fantastic dining suggestions. He was an avid hiker, visiting trails at many National Parks. He also enjoyed an annual ski trip to VT with the Goodie Stix Crew. Sean was a huge fan of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He also enjoyed visiting museums and learning about history, specifically World War II.
Sean is predeceased by his maternal grandparents David Morehead and Jo Anne Sutton and his paternal grandparents Joseph and Martha O’Neil.
Sean is survived by his parents Brian and Terry O’Neil of Fairhope, AL and his brother Patrick O’Neil of Mobile, AL; Aunts Vicki Studstill (Perry) of Fairhope, AL and Susan Reede (Barry) of Camden, AR; Godparents Eric and Brenda Reinert of Breinigsville, PA; Cousins Benjamin Studstill, Tyler Reede, Logan Reede and Kacie Reede, many second and third cousins and numerous friends.
Sean was a great conversationalist and storyteller. He was never at a loss for words, and he could spend hours discussing life. He had a kind heart, a carefree spirit and could find humor in most any situation.
We feel this scripture fits him perfectly.
Matthew 6:34 “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself”.
