Sharon L. Pecka November 19, 1949 - September 25, 2022

Sharon L. Pecka, 72, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her home. She was the wife of Anthony J. “Tony” Pecka who passed away August 2, 2022. They would have been married for 21 years September 21st. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Russell H. and Betty Jane (Frankenfield) Meckes. A 1967 graduate of Dieruff High School, she was employed in accounts payable at Bethlehem Steel for 18 years and, most recently, at ETT until retiring. Sharon enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, reading and binge- watching TV shows, especially Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon with her grandsons.

Survivors: sons, Jeremy Spess and his wife, Nicole, of Allentown, Joshua Spess and his wife, Jana, of Zionsville; stepdaughters, Tammy Brzozowski, of Wescosville, Kimberly Riepensell, of Allentown; grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Jill, Zakary, Alex, Ryan, Talon; one great granddaughter; brothers, Glen Meckes and his wife, April, of Ramona CA, Robert Meckes, of Bethlehem, David Meckes, of Allentown; sister, Kim Mullin, of Whitehall; seven grand pups; one grand bunny. Sharon was preceded in death by brother, Russell, Jr.
