Stephen John Roth July 30, 1943 - November 19, 2025

Stephen John Roth, 82, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the In-Patient Hospice Unit of L.V. Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Margaret C. “Peg” (Steckel) Roth. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in September 2025. Born in Allentown, Stephen was a son of the late Stephen Lucas and Theresa (Fiedler) Roth. Stephen was a graduate of Dieruff High School, class of 1961. He played varsity basketball and was the MVP at Dieruff. Stephen also played semi-pro basketball for the Allentown Jets. He was an assembly worker for General Electric for many years and later was a delivery driver for Guardian Photo. Stephen was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Whitehall and was very active in several athletic social organizations in the area.

Survivors: Wife, Peg; Son: Stephen A. Roth and his wife Lori E. Roth of Breinigsville; Grandson: Cayden E. Roth of Breinigsville; Brother: Charles Roth and his wife Julie of Whitehall. Stephen was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Barnyak.
