Steven B. Satrom September 6, 1947 - May 19, 2018

Steven B. Satrom, 70, of Center Valley, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Lee M. (Toal) Satrom. They would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in July 2018. Born in Minneapolis, MN, he was a son of the late Donald R. and Mildred L. (McElwain) Satrom. Steve graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and received his Master’s Degree from the University of Dayton in Engineering Management. He served five years in the Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. Steve worked for Air Products and Chemicals for 36 years before retiring in 2010. He was a mechanical engineer for many years and retired as V.P. and General Manager of the Americas. Steve was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, where he was a member of the Property and Capital Campaign Committees. He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a past president of the Construction Users Roundtable. Steve loved spending time with his family and friends, travel and golf.

Survivors: Wife, Lee; Daughter: Karin Elizabeth Satrom and her husband Bert Mains of Brooklyn, NY; Son: Jonathan Steven Satrom of Astoria, Queens, NY; Grandson: Donald Robert Mains; Siblings: Kirk (Janet) of O’Fallon, IL, Jim (Wanda) of Tulsa, OK, Susan Kent (Cameron) of Winston-Salem, NC, John (Heather) of Silver Spring, MD. Steve is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services: 2 pm Wednesday, Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus 18049. Call 12:30 – 2:00 pm Wednesday in the church. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., www.stephensfuneral.com.
