Susan M. Roach October 12, 1942 - May 29, 2021

Susan M. Roach, 78, of Macungie, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, surrounded by family in her home. She was the wife of the late John P. Roach, who passed away May 30, 2009. Born in Chicago IL, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Sweeney) Ward. Prior to retiring in 2000, she was employed as a registered nurse and pre-natal counselor at College Heights OB/GYN. A graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Chicago, she began her nursing career in 1963, with specialties in public health, pediatrics, and neo-natal care. A member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown, Susan enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren.  Survivors: daughters, Maureen E. “Reenie”, Allentown, Susan and husband, Joe Denneler, Wynnewood, Michelle McDermott and husband, Ryan, Narberth; sister, Rose Joseph, Chicago; sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Peter Conti, Davis IL; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Sean, Samantha, Timmy, Evie; nieces; nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and John.  Services: Private.
