Thomas C. Brown May 24, 1935 - May 13, 2022

Thomas C. Brown, 86, formerly of Allentown, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, in Delaware Hospice, Milford, DE. He was the husband of Cecilia M. (Heydt) Brown. They would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond L. and Margaret C. (Schlosser) Brown. Tom was a graduate of Allentown H.S., class of 1954. He was the owner, manager and grower for Brown’s Florist with locations in Kutztown, Emmaus and Fountain Hill for many years. Tom spent more than 30 years in sales, management and design experience in the floral industry in the Lehigh Valley. Mr. Brown was a past officer of the Kutztown Lions Club, the Fountain Hill Exchange Club and Men of the Cathedral. He was also a past president of the Kutztown Jaycees. Tom was a 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus and was a former member of St. Catharine of Siena Church, Allentown. He was an avid painter. His artwork has won several awards.

Holly, NC, Michael T. and his wife Maureen of Allentown, Mark A. and his wife Joy of Tempe, AZ, Matthew W. and his fiancé Kathleen of Emmaus, Thomas M. and his wife Jennifer of Millcreek, UT; Daughters: Margaret C. Belmonte and her husband Joseph of Elkton, MD, Marie A. Biggs and her husband Nelson of Dover, DE; Brother: David R. and his partner Liz in FL; Grandchildren: 22; Great-grandchildren: 9.

Services: 1 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022, Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. A viewing will be held from noon to 1 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022, in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com. Masks will be required by everyone attending the services.
