Thomas R. Barlip April 9, 1943 - February 22, 2026

Thomas R. Barlip, 82, of Kutztown, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was the husband of the late Marilyn A. (Chatles) Barlip. Born April 9, 1943, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ralph C. and Charlotte L. (Briner) Derr, Sr. Tom retired from Day-Timers after 25+ years when they closed in 2013. Tom owned a lawn service business for over 44 years. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He was a member of Perry Township Gun Club and Kutztown Rod & Gun Club. Surviving Tom are his Daughter Dana Miller (Mark); Grandchildren Branden Miller (Sue), Jason Taylor (Leslie); Great-grandchildren Amery Miller, Vincent and Steven Hernandez, and Lucas Taylor; Sisters Carol Derr Breinig, Melanie Dimovitz; Sisters-in-Law: Lyla Derr, April Derr and Susan Derr. Tom is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Joyce Barlip Funk and brother-in-law Paul Funk, Ronald Derr, Ralph Derr, Ricky Derr, Gerald Wagner and Patricia Bizony and brothers-in-law Richard Breinig and Gene Dimovitz.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for both Tom and Marilyn Barlip at 11 am on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106.
