V. Joyce Barber February 5, 1921 - May 4, 2017

V. Joyce Barber, 96, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Twp. She was the wife of the late Eugene William Himmel and also the widow of Kenneth John Barber. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles William and Viola Carrie (Listcoe) Dunnet. Joyce was a 1940 graduate of Frankford H.S. in Philadelphia. She worked as a bookkeeper at a bank and also was a cafeteria worker in the Neshaminy School District.

Survivors: Daughters: Nancy J. Schatz of Santee, CA, Arline S. Piehl and her husband Robert of Allentown; Grandchildren: Michelle A. Piehl, Keith R. Piehl, Robyn L. Sarvis and her husband Duane Trammell, Carly E. Sechrist and her husband Christopher; Great grandchildren: 7; Sister: Shirley E. Nelson of Riverside, CA.
