Vincent “Pat” Devlin December 30, 1946 - November 1, 2025
Vincent “Pat” Devlin, 78, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Phoebe Home in Allentown. Born in Philadelphia on December 30, 1946, he was the son of the late Vincent Devlin, Sr., and Catherine (McCann) Devlin. He was the husband of Eileen J. (Sheridan) Devlin, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Vince worked as a teacher for over 42 years, holding positions in Haverford Township School District High School, Rosemont College, and Shipley School. Vince was a devout Catholic and was a former member at St. Simon & Jude R.C.C., Westtown, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the parish council. Since moving to the Lehigh Valley, he was a member at St. Ann’s R.C.C., Emmaus. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors and found peace while gardening. He also was an avid bicycle rider and participated in the “Ben to the Shore bike tour” where participants biked from the Benjiman Franklin Bridge to Atlantic City. Above all, Vince was a family man and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.
In addition to his wife Eileen, Vince is survived by his daughters, Noreen Petrizzi and son-in-law Joseph, Carolyn Cucinotta, and Kristin Devlin, and grandchildren Vincent Petrizzi, Megan Petrizzi, Emily Cucinotta, Michael Cucinotta, Julie Cucinotta, and Kevin Cucinotta. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Dennis Devlin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6 ,at St. Ann’s R.C.C., 415 S 6th St, Emmaus, PA 18049, at 11:00 AM. Friends and relatives may call from 9:30-10:30 at Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106.
