Werner Piede July 28, 1927 - December 30, 2017

Werner Piede, 90, of Allentown, formerly of Hamburg, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the L.V. Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Rosalie Ann (Potts) Piede. They celebrated their 61^st wedding anniversary in March 2017. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Margaret (Riemer) Beiswenger and Walter Piede. Werner was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a computer systems designer for many years before retiring.

Survivors: Wife, Rosalie; Children: Michael and his wife Kathleen of Perkiomenville, Susan Schenkel and her husband Herbert of Macungie, David and his wife Jan of Upper Macungie Twp., James and his wife Mary Jane of Pottstown; Grandchildren: 13; Great-grandchildren: 7; Half-Brother: William Beiswenger and his wife Ingrid of Port Richey, FL; Half-Sister: Carol Quarg of Edmonton, KY.
