Willard T. “Bill” Sargent, Jr. March 26, 1951 - June 25, 2024

Willard T. “Bill” Sargent, Jr., 73, of Coopersburg, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the In-Patient Hospice Unit of L.V. Hospital, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Cathy J. (Haas) Sargent. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in September 2023. Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late Mary L. (Baldwin) and Willard T. Sargent, Sr. Bill was a graduate of Easton Area High School. He was a cabinet maker with Draper DBS Inc. for 20 years before retiring in 2020. Previously, Bill worked at The Lumber Yard of Allentown for 28 years. Bill enjoyed carpentry and woodworking and assisting anyone who had a “wood” project. He was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Coopersburg, where he was a Deacon for 25 years and a Youth Group leader for 16 years. Mr. Sargent was also a volunteer at the church and was involved with many aspects of Calvary Church. He loved spending time with his family who he held close to his heart. Bill was always compassionate to the needs of others.

Angelone and her husband Carlo of Coopersburg; Grandchildren: Austen Hughes and his wife Madison of Whitehall, Preston Angelone, Hunter Hughes and Leana Angelone, all of Coopersburg, Lexi Sargent New Tripoli; Brother: David Sargent and his wife Nancy of Pittsburgh; Sister: Cindy Sargent of Allentown

There will be a visitation from 9:30 – 11:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2024, with service to follow at 11 am, all at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6782 N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA 18036. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., www.stephensfuneral.com.
