William Bosso February 10, 1935 - August 1, 2024

William Bosso, age 89, of Macungie, formerly of Kingston, PA., passed away peacefully on August 1 after a lengthy illness. Bill is the son of the late Edward J. and the late Margaret Flynn Bosso. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Patricia Melis and Kathryn Mooney and his brothers Edward Bosso and James Bosso. Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rose Mary Bosso, and daughters Jamie Watson (Byron) of Texas and Megan Snyder (Scott) of Emmaus, Pa. Bill is also survived by the absolute lights of his life, his grandchildren Jayden Watson, Caty Snyder and Hannah Snyder.

Bill was a graduate of Kingston High School, Millersville State Teachers College, and Bucknell University. He began his teaching career in Kingston and served for 40 years as a teacher and elementary school principal in Kingston and Wyoming Valley West.

Bill had a special gift for finding the positive in the most difficult situations. He loved to meet new people and left any room having more friends than when he entered it. He was a lover of music, a keen observer, and a champion for children. More importantly, he was a loyal husband, a supportive father, and a proud and loving Pop.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 5th in the St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 9:45 – 10:45 A.M. in the church on Monday and from 10:00- 11:00 A.M.
