William J. Heist, Jr. September 9, 1947 - July 17, 2022

William J. Heist, Jr. 74, of Allentown, passed away Sunday July 17, 2022, in ProMedica, Allentown.  He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Shoemaker) Heist.  William was born in Allentown a son of the late William J. Heist, Sr., and Margaret A. “Peggy” Heist. He was employed by the Weis Market, Dorneyville.  William was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors: Brother, Michael D. Heist of East Windsor, NJ; sisters, Kathleen A. wife of Larry Neiswender of North Richland Hills, TX, and Sherry L. wife of Thomas F. Gallagher of Breinigsville; nephew Scott T. Gallagher and his wife Heather. He was predeceased by his niece Kelly Gallagher.
