William P. Apgar May 25, 1948 - August 17, 2024
William P. “Bill” Apgar, 76, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Twp. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Anna (Sabo) and Paul Apgar. A 1966 graduate of William Allen High School, he remained a loyal sports fan of his alma mater for more than 50 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed at General Electric, Allentown Parking Authority and The Morning Call. Bill was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.
Survivors: sister, Mary Erdie and husband, Robert, Allentown; niece, Jennifer Wechsler and husband, Frank, and their children, Ethan and Sydney, Marlton NJ. Bill was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth.
