Xavier H. Alban May 15, 1981 - June 17, 2021

Xavier H. Alban, 40, of Allentown passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was loving and dedicated father, husband, son, brother, cousin, uncle.

Xavier was born in Ecuador where his grandparents and loving aunt help raised him. He migrated to the United States to join his parents and his youngest sister Stefanny at the age of fourteen along with his beloved and lifetime confidant eldest sister Shimara. Xavier embraced the American culture making him an avid Eagles and Philly fanatic while never forgetting his roots and continuing to cheer for his homeland Barcelona soccer team. He was a gamer and enjoyed sharing this pastime with his son Xander and his nephew Daniel. He spoiled and adored his beautiful nieces Mikayla and Izabella to no end just as he had done with their mothers Shimara and Stefanny. His mother Luisa was his lifeline, and he inherited his kindness and generosity from her. His father Horacio can be credited for giving sharing the trait of Xavier’s tremendous personality, sense of humor, and infectious laugh. His brother-law Daniel, his cousins Ivan, and David were his brothers in all sense of the word and they each held a special place in his heart and earned his unconditional respect and loyalty.

Xavier biggest and most proud accomplishment were his children and the family he built with his wife of fifteen years Cecilia (Saltos) Alban. He was a devoted father to his children and openly expressed the joy, love, and calmness they brought to his life. He was proud of the young independent man his son was becoming and was enamored with his daughter whose arrival two years ago complemented the happiness and harmony in their home. He adored his wife and never held back in expressing with words and action the love they shared.

Xavier had both scholar and professional achievements throughout his life earning his high school diploma from Allen High School, an Electrical Technology Associates Degree from Lehigh Carbon College community college, and most recently an “Excellent Driver Award” from his employer UPS.

For all those who had the honor of knowing Xavier, they will always remember him as a joyous, loving, kind, generous, and loyal man. When he entered a room his presence commanded attention but to be around him and know him meant you were happy and smiling because his enthusiasm for life was contiguous. His smile will always be unforgettable and his most remembered trait because it was honest, and amid with true affection every time. When Xavier embraced you in a hug you felt the emotional and physical calmness and endearment, he conveyed through every time because he did not know how to hug any other way.
